With an emphasis on harmony, melody and songs that tells stories, Gerard Sampaio credits Wilco and Lambchop as influences but also the beautiful mellow side of country music. A few years ago Hollywood came calling when their song Sweet Release was used for the climax of comedy ‘Overnight’. They blew the money on recording gear and rented a big house by the sea to record the songs that feature on this new album.
